| | Alright lads . I know the Gers are four hard games away from this and yous will have more important issues due to love for your own team but I would like to find out if Manchester will welcome the Rangers to your city for the final and what we can expect . No point posting this on a United forum as I know what the answer would be . You will appreciate that this is becoming a talking point on our forums and due to the ludicrous decision by the police chief to cancel preseason friendly against Bolton I wonder how your average City fan feels . Would you be happy to see the bears coming down in their tens of thousands ?. Will big screens and fan zones be set up ?. Will you come along to these Zones to give us support .? |

I think every city fan I know support Rangers as their second team.
Don't worry about utd fans, nearly all of them are from ireland, surrey or anywhere else other than manchester.
I will be trying to get a ticket if Rangers get there, thats for sure. |

| We know all this already about united and that Manchester is mostly fans of city we are well versed about them bud . We are a big team in support and stature terms but get lots of bad press up here as most red top papers are shellick fans mostly from the same place . We have a heritage of being a British club and were very disappointed by your police regarding Bolton so looking forward to coming[maybe) but wondering if that was a general opinion or just load of nonsense . Mon the City by the way . |

I don't know anybody who has a second team. I don't really get this whole thing to be honest. I don't have a problem with Rangers or anything, i but they're just another club to me really. I think i've always slightly favoured Celtic but don't really know why. I think Rangers would be given the same welcome as any other team.

Frankly, Scottish football is no great advert for anything. Caught Skysports whilst we were away and the top of the Scots prem was Rangers and Celtic an they both had a goal difference of +45. +45?!?! WTF?? The only other team with plus goal diff was Hearts or Hibs and they were plus 6. Every other team was minus summat, there or thereabouts. Garbage.

I maybe put it a bit strongly saying support, I'd change that to follow results and if rangers play celtic you'd get a louder cheer for rangers from city no dout about it. Seen many rangers shirts when city are playing in the past. Celtic are for utd It's quite a well known fact |

That's fine for Rangers and Celtic, but it shouldn't have anything to do with it for City, where religion has fuck all to do with anything. I too have seen Rangers shirts at City games, there's a guy who sits behind me who wears one and puts up a Shankill Road flag at every game. Why would you wear another teams shirt to watch your team? That's bad form
