Looks like Sven has messed up big time in letting him go.

I read an interiew in The Herald with Samaras on Saturday about how he's happy now at Celtic.

To his credit he also said how much he loved City and will be very sad to leave but he felt he'd not been given a fair chance or played in his prferred position whilst at the club. Celtic are very pleased with him and were full of praise for his attitude in training and on the pitch.

Personally I think we've given away two reasonably talented players far too cheaply.

lets not forget that yesterday west brom were playing bristol rovers with not the greatest defence. Ok miller did look good, but I don't think he was outstanding, perhaps for that level yes. But premiership standard, I'm not sure, his ability on the ball isn't good enough for the prem in my opinion

I have a feeling that Sturridge is being left out so he can play in the youth team. He has said that he is desperate to win the Youth cup after having failed in the past and this year is his golden opportunity. We might see a bit more of him towards the end of the season when the youth cup semi and hopefully final are done with.

A bit of an odd one considering the first team is challenging for Europe (albeit in the intertoto now) but with Sven persisting with 1 up he probably doesn't see a place for him beyond the bench. I'd like to think that will change now that we have failed to score again. But my guess is that Caceido and Benjani and possibly Bojinov have the edge of Sturridge this season.

Might be best to let Studge win the youth cup and get that out of his system then see the very best of him in the first team next year.

I think Studge would have been on the bench on Saturday if it wasn't for the youth cup semi's. I also think he will be involved in some way on Sunday.

I still do not think Miller will make it in the prem. His touch is just not upto it.

I was a tad shocked when we sold Miller, especially when he'd just signed a new deal, surely it would have made more sense for Sven to stick with the initial loan agreement and review things in the summer?
Anyway, he did well yesterday and I'm pleased for him, that said it was against a 1st division team, and he was given good service, which is sadly lacking at City.

I think that sums it up ESM, we cant give any of our strikers a chance at the moment. Samaras is getting good reviews north of the boarder too.

If we cant create more than one chance a game, then even a world class striker wont get 20 goals a season. Lacking on both wings at the moment, with petrov out.

I think Garrido would have been good to try at Left wing before all the defenders got injured, he´s looked okay when he has come on in left mid in the past and then you could at least play vass RM.

Everytime on Saturday it was Sun or Corluka crossing from the right, and they never took on the last man to get in a decent angle to cross the ball.
