| | In my opinion he has to get some sort of team with bite for Sunday potentially without Dunne & Richards, Hamann, Petrov and possibly ball...I think he's gonna have to go 4-4-2 Id go with HART Jihai Corluka Ned Garrido Elano Johnson Ireland Vassel Benjani Studge And give Johnson the captaincy...... Bench: Fernandes, Isakkson, Big Phil, Castillo, Geovanni

| I'd put Elano in the middle going forward and play Castillo from the start in place of Ireland

I would agree with that.
The Sun (NOTW) said yesterday that Benjani was 'useless', I think that was harsh, he was among equals on Saturday.

The Sun (NOTW) said yesterday that Benjani was 'useless', I think that was harsh, he was among equals on Saturday. I thought he played ok.....but he has no runners behind when he gets the ball because elano was playing too deep.... he tried all game but to no reward....NOTW - very anti sven if i remember the world cup

| We need to play someone up with Benjani, with the current form of the squad i think it would give the whole team a boost to bring Sturridge in, he is a real character and i feel his enthusiasm would rub off on the others.
It has to be worth a shot!
Also, i have decided to not get down about the run, as we have such an inexperienced and young squad, and the bad results all add to the players progressions and their learing curves... You have to taste defeat before you achieve glory! (Not saying i wouldn't have liked a couple of wins though!)

| | Be a great chance to stick Castillo on the left, Ireland on the right with Johnson and Fernandes in the middle with Elano just playing behind benji, or have Elano and Johnson in the middle with Caicedo and Benjani up front. |
