| I think Petrov would have eaten Reading's defense alive today I think, even Vassell was able to beat their right back. Shame Petrov was so foolish and got himself banned.

avoidconfusion (08/03/2008) I hope this game makes Sven finally realize that 4-5-1 won't cut it anymore.By the way mate, we have to play this formation if we play away, and if we play against teams that are fighting for the european places. What? No we dont. There are no rules saying we have to. We need to support our strikers. 4-4-2 provides Benjani with support. OK mate, there is no support because one of the reasonswe don't have Petrov anymore. Im not your mate. Petrov isn't support, he is a supplier, support is having someone playing off Benjani. Petrov doesn't do that, he is a winger. We need a secondary striker so one of them can play facing the goal, otherwise one up front is not going to get us goals, and goals win matches. The best choice at this point of the time is that play with Elano, because today he played as RM. |

| | Gonna have problems in defence now, dunney will probably miss the next game Richards out not to sure about Nedum, ended up with 4 full backs in defence and we only Got Berbatov to contend with next game. Thought Johnno was unlucky to be booked, on another day that could have been a penalty. |

| | Now, we need to forget about Reading and focus on the next game which will be a hard game. We have a chance of winning it, if we will solid and not giving the ball cheaply. |

| BlueInJersey (08/03/2008) I don't understand why we persist with trying to pass it through the middle all the time. just get it wide and get decent balls into the box.
makes you wonder what the hell they get up to all week in training! was it not just this Monday that Sven said something along the lines of they've been found out, and then sticks with the same tactics the next match!

| | As usual everyone is the perfect coach... We got issues but i have faith in Sven and his stab. Still, the players we have arent good enough atm and alot of them are either booked or injuried. We are totally out of form atm and i dont think 4-4-2 will change that at all. |

you say elano but maybe bojinov would fit in the catorgory of a support striker . . .
