I fucking hate that sort of shit

So do I.  As if it's not bad enough that a number of poxy clubs like Bolton, Wigan and Sheff Utd have cottoned onto this distinctly American naffness, the bloody fans aren't even ashamed of it, but fooking sing along and clap in time   Just wrong.

At least with us we wouldn't hear it very often.

Neither do Sheff Utd fans, that's why it took me until about the 12th game of the season to find that out!

We could get them to play "Blue Moon"

I'm a little worried. I never encountered an single banjo during my trip to Egypt. How can we expect him to hit anything with an instrument he's never seen?

He'll have no more luck scoring than the others. He'll be feeding off scraps.

Did you see the amount of chances we created against Charlton and Newcastle BU??

Ok, so we've finally starting creating chances, and now you're saying to the players who were up front "Ok, thanks for filling in lads, but we want someone else to take the glory from here on in.". If Corradi gets one he'll score a few more. Dickov will never score, granted, but we have Sturridge who can become fourth striker. WE DO NOT NEED TO SPEND YET MORE MONEY UP FRONT!!!

The midfield is crying out to be strengthened. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

I think it goes more like this "Ok lads, you've had your chance, you tried and you failed. Time to bring someone else in and see if they can do any better".

So our response is to reinforce failure? To mask the real problems. SP should be building a team, not just a collection of strikers. He HAS to have the courage of his convictions and stick with what he has, and spend what little money he's going to get on areas of the team that have been criminally neglected. Once again I say Sturridge. If he's as good as we are told then he will be ready. Micah played in the first team at 17. Rooney and Walcott played for England at 17.

I agree. If Sturridge is good enough he's old enough.

I dont care where they come from, reserves, youths, bought in? and I wouldn't say its reinforced failure, i'd say its replacing railure.

We all have our ideas about where the team needs improving and who's not good enough. Like I actually thing our midfield aint that bad. Maybe one creative player we need. But its up front where we have real problems. I just dont think we have a real clinical finisher. Not out of the ones on show up to now.
