| Zaki confirms Man City move

Manchester City have launched a £2 million bid for Zamalek striker Amr Zaki. As long as he passes his medical, the hitman will link up with City in January's transfer window after snubbing a bid from Russia's Lokomotiv Moscow. Zaki, 23, helped the hosts lift the African Nations Cup in February this year, scoring from the spot in Egypt's 4-2 penalty shootout win over the Ivory Coast. And he said: "My club Zamalek have received an official approach from Manchester City and now I just have to arrange the medical. "It's very exciting. Like most players I've always wanted to play in the Premiership and I think I will do well there. "I watch a lot of Premiership action on television and think my style will suit the game in England. Hopefully, the deal will go through." Hopefully, this will make our other strikers work a bit harder. Hopefully he can be the answer.

O sorry, i was day dreaming again. Although i've got to say, if this is theman Pearce really wanted then fair play to the bord for stumping up the money.
