| Chelsea have won their appeal against Frank Lampard's sending off at West Ham last weekend. The former Hammers star was dismissed in the first-half for lashing out at Luis Boa Morte. The Blues lodged an appeal with the Football Association and now their regulatory commission has upheld the request. Lampard's three-match ban has now been withdrawn and he is free to play. The news comes just over a week after the commission rejected Middlesbrough's appeal against Jeremie Aliadiere's red card at Liverpool. Indeed Boro's request was deemed frivolous and they extended Aliadiere's ban to four-matches. Boro were furious and the latest decision from Soho Square is sure to further rile the North East club. Bet Southgate is well seething, Don't think i Seen lamps red but according to this he lashed out, is that not what Alliadiere sort of did n gotta 4 match ban?? Ridiculous. |
