Is this a return to typical City form, ie unpredictable?

Against United I would have gone for a defeat to United; draw with Everton; win against Wigan.
The team got the same 4 points but via different results.

Against Readng is anyone's guess.

I'm not sure that it's a return to form so much as a continuance of it.

We have lacked a settled team lately, with Elano either out or not 100%, Petrov, missing, Richards missing, new striker.  Richards and Pterov are 2 of our best performers, to have them missing or below par will show in our performances and results.

I don't think Vassell is a winger, never will be. He should either be left out or played as partof a striking partnership.  Sven is sticking with a lone striker and lets Elano float - this has now been sussed by all the prem teams and it's time to take the game to the opposition and invite them to come out and take the ball off us - thus opening gaps - you can't do this if the midfield is totally congested and we just pass side to side or back to Hart.

I hope we go to Reading with the mentality to be patient and run with the ball rather than passing it sideways and creating nothing. We can batter reading by 2 or 3, we just need to go out and unsettle them early.  Qustion is, will we have the players available on Saturday to run with the ball and create the spark.......Ireland, Johnson, Benjani..................!

Eh up Cannon, where have you been hiding? We've missed your cheeky chest around here.

Been watching, perusing and looking on from a far - bit like Kuyt does for Liverpool.......... Been away since the United game - but now I'm back City should start winning again.  We need a confidence boost - don't think we have gone 3 games without a win all season.  Reading are fighting for survival, so lets hit 'em fast and hit'em hard - run off with 3 points and leave them smarting. About time Ireland had a good game and linked up with Johnson to control the middle so Benjani and Vassell can run them ragged.
