I said after the everton game we should try some new things because the way were playing there is no way we will win enough for uefa cup spot, Play studger upfront with Benjy and bring the calcium kid off the bench, rest hamman every second game and give the young guys more of a go. We are way ahead of where we thought we would be so start planning for next year and see what the younger guys can do.

I would love to see a 4-4-2 or a more offensive 4-3-3 , against teams like Wigan you have to play more than 1 striker upfront cause as we saw they defend with 8 or 9.

But I guess Erikson will stick to his formation.

I think he knows he will have to go for it now.

I'm not so sure formation is the problem right now. I think maybe we've got a touch of the jitters. We're coming to the business end of the season in with a good shout of europe and we're playing with too much caution, and too nervous. For the first time in years we're safe from relegation by christmas, so sven needs to tell the players to go out and relax and play without fear, forget the league table, just play the game and enjoy it, see where that takes us. Take some of the pressure off.

A lot of the players though haven't been at the club long enough to remember constant relegation battles

you do not mess with Jack Reacher

It doesn't matter. It's like the tennis player who gets to match point, they say that closing the game out is the hardest part and is more mental than anything. I know it's not the greatest analogy cuz it's not like we're close to winning the league or anything but, I know what I mean if nobody else does.

If we get the ball wide getting early crosses in, we will score goals.
If we shoot from outside the box once in a while, we will also score goals

Couldn't agree more. If not from the shot, from the rebound.
