badly drawn bassman (29/02/2008)
Bill Dando (28/02/2008) XFM's pretty poor - its just another heavily commercial station with a very small playlist - you're guaranteed The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters and Oasis every two hours and they're all the same fucking songs. Absolutely nowhere near as good as The Revolution - 95.1 FM.
Thought you didn't listen to the radio anyway Bassman?I don't, apart from when we're on it. So why the downer on the demise of xfm then? Its not like its Oldham Community Radio, so your airplay bedrock is safe, for now...... i actually listen to XFM at lunchtime. I certainly will not be listening to Key103 - I'd rather cut my ears off with a rusty breadknife, and dump them into a bucketful of acid.
Someone get a message through to Captain Snort That they better start assembling the boys from the fort. And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight, 'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight. |

| So why not listen to The Rev? Its your local station and I'd say its probably the best I've ever heard - no playlist, no chart guff, rare and obscure stuff and DJs who actually really know music.

| Just spotted this thread, bad news this is. Xfm was promising, and was the only radio station I'd listen to, as Key103 plays some shite !!

I wonder if he'll crawl back and ask for his old job back.

| He still does the Rev I think, been doing both stations. Not like he's short of work - some weekends you can't go anywhere in town without seeing him DJing somewhere.
