| Can someone clear this up for me? I see 5th gets you a uefa cup spot, but also know that with the right results 6th and 7th also can get in to europe. Where would we need to finish to get a spot? I know 5th gets you in but can we finish 6th or 7th and still get in? and if so what OTHER result, ie fa cup would need to happen?

Thiswould just be our luck, if we went on a great run till end of season and get 4th place.
Then liverpool win the CL and take it away from us
Good shout on UEFA, but I'm fairly certain (couldn't quite say why, but I would bet on it) that the winner isn't guaranteed any more. 4th place would get in and 5th would miss if it happened again. It's prolly from the footbubble book.

| If one of the top four also win a cup then seventh is enough for a UEFA spot - I'll think we'll manage that easily enough

| Do the winners not get in? I thought they'd implemented a rule to clear up all the fuss that occurred last time?

I'm guessing they perhaps do. But I think they are still antsy about letting 5 clubs in. I had read something about the winners not getting in as a new rule, unfortunately it was in the imagined future of footbubble (interesting read btw).
