I couldn't give two flying fucks about who wins what awards. It wouldn't influence my opinions either way. Its all subjective anyway.

Thats the thing that makes all these stupid arguments and name calling threads around music pointless.

And awards wouldn't influence my opinions either - but it's nice when talented artists get recognised for that.

I saw Frank Skinner walking down the street the other day.

Admittedly he's neither talented or an artist but I did recognise him. Miserable looking fecker too.

Are the Brit's subjective, or do they go off things like record sales and the like.

The mother was saying if it went of those, Mika would of won it, but I'm not too sure

I saw Bill Bailey in Hammersmith quite regularly, stuck out like dogs balls, doesnt exactly blend in with his look. Funny bastard too.

Amy Winehouse has been staying at the hotel my wife uses in London for the last 10 days (left now apparently). The placed was surrounded by paperrazi and full of her heavies. She remained in her room and the staff were not allowed to divulge who was staying there.

The same day I saw Skinner I also saw Nicholas Anelka getting into his Bentley outside a hotel in Chelsea Harbour.

He seemed very smiley for someone who has a reputation of being mis. Second time I've bumped into him strangely first was in Brum when he was still with us.

His Bentley was an outstanding example of footballer's taste btw. All black except forthe wheels which were massive thin spoked alloys painted bright red. Nice.

What with all the 'who's?' Bassy?, thought you knew everything there is to know about music?

Tut, tut.

Maybe next year eh? Maybe they'll do a 'Best rather chunky band with a member who looks a bit 'special' to play Jacksons Pitt in Oldham' category.
