save me Jeebus (19/02/2008)

Tottenham fans strike me as the City fans of the south, to be honest; battling against bigger neighbours, always moaning about something, wanting more than they've got, believing that their team/club is one of the biggest in the world, etc. and I can't really hate them because I see myself in them.

See I feel that way more about Chelsea (pre Roman).  Plus we were in the old 2nd division with them a bit, and the Full Member's Cup final.

did you go to that? what was the score? go on... </bored>

i think me and my mates left at 4-1 down and we heard loads of cheers on the way out and calculated that we'd either been slaughtered or sneaked, sadly we didn't quite sneak it.

Didn't it end 4-3?

possibly, i thought it was it went from 1-4 to 4-5 but it could have been 1-3 to 3-4, can't remember. I do know that we missed a stack of goals and i was gutted. Then when we were 2-0 down against Gillingham in that game, i decided to leave early in the stupid hope that it would lead to me missing a stackful of goals and i did. nice. Was it down to me?   Or did i just miss out again?

You might be right on the 5-4. I just remember we were getting hammered and very nearly pulled it back. I think you're right with 5-4. I suppose I could easliy check, it's just that I'm a lazy git. I like to rely on vague memories.

Hate spurs because my boss is one, well sort of... he wouldnt know the scores if i asked him on the monday but he still claims he follows them. And he turns into a dick when spurs beat us, yet the only way he would know is if i told him. Sums up my perception of a Spurs fan.

Concur and want Chelsea to win but also becuase if they do the chances of 7th giving a Uefa cup spot increases.

I gave Elano my Porsche and now I want it back!

spurs are my second hated club. as we all know who the first one is. spurs down the years have always been jammy against us apart from 4-3 in the cup and i hope chelsea give them a right stonking.plus spurs didn't deserve to beat us in the cup this year anyway

Elano is our hero, Elano is our hero
