I don't mind Spurs, but that's mainly because two of my best mates are Spurs supporters and there's been a steady campaign between them to win me over. I think more than anything I like the fact that another club can spend so much money year after year and not really go anywhere, it makes me feel better about City.

I think I dislike Spurs more than any other club (bar utd).

Two reasons I suppose:

1. London-centric journos & pundits who believe civilisation ends at Watford constantly w@nking on about them & giving them a higher profile than they deserve.

2. London-centric FA bosses wiping out their 12 pt deduction & reinstating them into the FA Cup after financial irregularities. Swindon (outside the civilisation boundary) got relegated two divsions for their troubles.

Oh, and Chelsea are a bunch of jerks too. Dilettante tossers who were perennial also-rans til all the 90s foreign players came over & wanted to live in London. 8,000 @ Stamford Bridge v City in 88/89...I rest my case.

Rant over.

Tottenham fans strike me as the City fans of the south, to be honest; battling against bigger neighbours, always moaning about something, wanting more than they've got, believing that their team/club is one of the biggest in the world, etc. and I can't really hate them because I see myself in them.

See I feel that way more about Chelsea (pre Roman).  Plus we were in the old 2nd division with them a bit, and the Full Member's Cup final.

did you go to that? what was the score? go on... </bored>

i think me and my mates left at 4-1 down and we heard loads of cheers on the way out and calculated that we'd either been slaughtered or sneaked, sadly we didn't quite sneak it.

Didn't it end 4-3?
