| Hi, I am thinking of getting a city season ticket for the upcoming season. I was just wondering if anyone could point out a good seating area/stand (be specific please!) as i havent been to the new stadium before. Also could anyone tell me the best places to park etc, as I would be driving up. Any help or advise would be welcome |

| If you want somewhere with decent atmosphere you need to look for South Stand Level 1. For a really good view, but crap atmosphere go for second or third tiers. Best place for parking will depend on where you're driving from.

| I like the vantage point of the top shelf near halfway. You get a great overall view
you do not mess with Jack Reacher |

| | I sit East Stand Tier 2 near the north end, cracking view but the atmosphere is pants most of the time. West Stand near where it meets with the South is probably the best over all if you want to soke up the atmosphere but not sing all the time. |

| I am thinking of buying an under 16 season ticket for next season, most probably in the East Stand that has been recommended in the posts above due to the good atmosphere etc. I am still undecided on travel though. I would like to get to Eastlands by train but I don't know the local stations or train times etc. And the main worry is if I can or can't get a train home after a mid-week game at night without it being silly o'clock in the morning and if it is safe for me and a mate without an adult round there??? Can anybody recommend anything? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

No local stations (unless you can jump on a freight train going through Ardwick or Ashburys!) so you'll have to get off @ Pic & then either walk (15 mins) or get a taxi ($5 - 3 mins) to the ground. Train times depend on where you're coming from, obviously.
It's not like Maine Road - you're pretty safe after dark on a week night here.
