| From a QPR fan on another forum.
the thing is they need more rooney more than they think. i would pretty much bet my life on them doing u if they had rooney in the team, he adds something special, i dunno what it is about the guy but with him in the side, you would have really struggled. they played crap and to be fair everytime u went forward u looked more likely to score so well done city. but dont start with the talk there team is worth this much and urs is worth that much. that has nothing to do with it, u still signed quality players no matter how much they cost, the table dont lie...so u cant say oh are team is only worth blah blah. ive seen a lot of welbeck in non competetive footie aswell as sturridge and altho sturridge is a good finisher, in terms of all round play welbeck is better. two very different players but both look really exciting prospects! |

| Bert Trautmanns neck brace (11/02/2008) I see the standard of English is no better elsewhereI had to re-read that just to make sure I guessed correct what he was trying to say. I'm still not sure I got the full gist of it.

| “The only thing I can offer is that the emotion of the occasion perhaps got to the players,” he said. “The minute’s silence was very moving, it certainly got to me. It was certainly one of the worst performances you can expect from Manchester United. But we have to put that behind us. It’s a test for us now, just as it was for the club back in 1958.
Red Nose from the United Official site. Yeah, recovering from a derby day defeat is just as bad as having half your team killed in a tragic plane crash! It must have really hurt them to get beat by us. What a fecking shame. |
