I went to see Pantera there in 1994 when I didn't know any better. They blew the roof off the place.
I think I was probably there that night, too!

RIP Dimebag.'Cowboys From Hell', great album. We recently had a big debate on here started by a pic of Dimebag.
you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

| Mr Badger (15/11/2006)
The Incredible Funk (15/11/2006) Don't mind the Apollo, personally.
I went to see Pantera there in 1994 when I didn't know any better. They blew the roof off the place.
As for the ale prices, get there a little earlier and go to the Apsley Cottage around the corner, we did a couple of years ago and met Dave Gorman, whose Googlewhack show we were going to see. Funny, funny guy.
Shame he's a ginner.
I still don't know any better.
...and i still don't know better and I'm close to collecting my pension.....

| Sorry,
It's still a bit early for me. I need my lunchtime pint to get the wit flowing properly. I would like to apologise for the circumstances which prompted you to 'badum tsssch' my previous post.

| | Seen Kraftwerk at the Appollo. Very good indeed. Also seen Debbie Harry there, but she was in a bitchy mood that night. |

RIP Dimebag.Sounds about right. If it was the tour where they finished with Planet Caravan, sitting on the stage smoking cigarettes of a dubious nature then, yes I was there.

Saw Kraftwerk on that tour. One of the best shows of all time.
I thought the use of computers/ robots/ real musical instruments and having all the sounds stored on a laptop would be against your principals Bassman. And they had session players onstage with them too!
