Myriad is nice. I use it from time to time.

Oh yeah.

*mental note-use more fonts*

But never more than two on the same page except where there are extenuating circumstances. Stick with fonts within the same family. Always works better.

Needs more explanation...

Frutiger is a family. Within that family are italic / bold / light / heavy / extra bold / condensed etc. So if you stick to all the fonts within a family to create your document then you get a more uniform look.

You ocassionally get a family that includes a serif and a sans serif version. Stone is an example of this.

The word serif makes me all kinds of excited.

I am having to google all these fonts btw. Myriad is deffo apple's best imho.

One word for you-Letraset.

Ah, the days before computers. We didn't have any comps when I was at college. We did all our type by hand with the occasional use of a typesetting machine. I spent most of my later teens with my head in a grant machine tracing type from a letraset book.

*awaits Bert with slate type comment*

Benny. You're not well. Take one of these and call me in the morning.

I did actually use a slate in junior school.

On topic ,Francis Lee kicked me once and it hurt, I slammed a door in Silvestre's face and I kissed David White's mother.

Not all at the same time though

you do not mess with Jack Reacher

Was he brilliant? Serious question-one of my mates used to play with Nicky Barmby and reckons he was absolutely stunning-far far better than the rest of them.
