Had Andy Hinchcliffe left us by then? I'm crap at remembering dates. Only this just made me think how much Robert Green is a lookie likey for Andy Hinchcliffe. They could swap heads.
Robert Green's a Romulan if ever I saw one

Benny (09/02/2008) He's blue, he's white, he's fucking dynamite...
One of my all time favourite players. Bill's right tho, he's bigger than me these days.
More than Paul Lake?
Not more than. He'd be another. I went to that FA youth cup final, and that group (also inc hinchcliffe, brightwells) are right up there for me-prolly the team I grew up with as it were.

Great team. Half of them were in the England U21 at the same time. Lake was class. Would have been England captain one day. I met them all at a Brother function in the late 80's and you couldn't have met a nicer bunch. Proper laugh they were.

God, no. Our fooking house was full enough of Brother crap as it was. My dad was the FD. (Funnily enough he was the one that recommended they should sponsor City.)

That's almost a claim to fame. I served Franny Lee his dinner once.

I sat next to Cantona at a restaurant. The temptation to stab him with a fork was almost overwhelming. Not sure my girlfriend of the time would have been impressed. Twas valentines day too.

You missed a "fart in cupped hand, release into face" opportunity. I'm not sure I can forgive you...
