I'm not sure I'd call Garrido a defender going by his recent appearances. think he can offer something on the left wing though.

| I think Chiellini would be a good signing, garrido isn't good enough, whenever he plays we concede goals far too easily on the left, ball is better and I like him but we need more pace on the left of defence, and I feel he looks long too often

Manchester City will move for Juventus defender Georgio Chiellini at the end of the season. (News of the World) hard as nails defender would do me fine. defenders and midfield a priority - the strikers can't do much if there's no supply Agreed Timps, We soooo lacked balance on either side on Saturday. No one could cross it. We are looking very thin on decent defenders too !!

| | Reports have us approaching Toulouse regarding Johan Elmander. Not sure if he is what we really need though. We also seem to be back in for Luca Modric, if his agent is to be believed. Bit of competition there I think, but he is reported as being top of Sven's (big) summer target list. |

When we asked for chillieni(would be a great signing imo), they said how about a swap for Corluka. We actully agreed everything with juve for chillieni in july, only for them to ask for a further 2million last minute. |

WeNearly had modric inJanuary. Beforehis club decided to wait untill this summer to try and force a bidding war.
When we asked for chillieni(would be a great signing imo), they said how about a swap for Corluka.
We actully agreed everything with juve for chillieni in july, only for them to ask for a further 2million last minute.
If we got Chiellini and Modric I for one would have to lock myself in a room for a week with lotion.
