What bollocks. Stating the obvious, but here goes:
1. Don't the 'big' teams already whinge about having too many games to play in a season?Unless it just happens to be a money-spinning jaunt to foreign climes, obviously.
2. The beauty ofa league is that all teams playthe other teams twice. Having a draw for an extra league game creates an imbalance in the fixtures that is usually only seen in American leagues, and then only for logistical/travel purposes. If the teams don't all play the same opponents the same number of times, how can it be considered a league?
3. What is the justification for the seeding? What about the relegation strugglers who wouldn't want to play each other? Or those teams just below the top five who might still be in with a chance of European qualification?
Wait, this is a wind up isn't it?
You're right. Newcastle v Tottenham every year then.

| The BBC Sport editor had this to say:"Some fans may feel aggrieved, but their concerns will be outweighed by the financial advantages for the clubs. "Clubs will see this as a chance to make more money so they can invest in new facilities and better players." So that's alright then, who gives a stuff about what the fans think? Seriously, has someone moved April Fools day or something?

| Got a feeling this could be a step too far - even for the Premier League - there's no way the season can accommodate 10 more games
