| It'd almost be worth us not signing him just to piss Redknapp off. He can fuck off for £9 mill though. I'd rather see us do without Benjani, give Evans a go, and put some of that money towards improving the contract offered to Micah.

Cant help but think that Redknapp engineered this whole debacle. defoe had a rrived but so what if he held on to two strikers, 'why do I want to help City out? They're in the Euro ruck same as Pompey, lets mess em around.' And now that there is a clause that City could still get him after window has shut, price suddenly leaps up. Yeah, that's me, Mr Sceptical.
