Fax?!?!!

I know it's our club, but as you say... Fax?!?!!?!

But what's this all about?

Benjani Mwaruwari's proposed transfer to Manchester City from Portsmouth did not go through on Thursday night because he failed to reach Eastlands before the midnight transfer deadline. (Various)

It looks like we will find out in the next two to three hours as Benjani is still in Manchester, expecting to become a Manchester city player.

Benjani arrived in Manchester at 10.45pm, arriving at the TG at 11.10pm.

I have a sneaky feeling the deal will be sanctioned.

hope so, flex some of that 'big premier league club' muscle.

If Southgate can still manage without his coaching badges, surely the rules can be bent for us also?

I think someone really dropped the ball on this. Either the front office
decided to balk at signing a 30 year old striker for £7 million or whatever
it was, or City management has the worst quality control in the
Premier League! LOLOL

"Aw, how could he lose the ball in the sun, he's from Mexico."

These things happen. We weren't the only team to miss out on a player last year and the same goes for this year. Sure, the paperwork went wrong but the fact that the FA are reviewing it suggests it wasn't our fault. Why are people so quick to get down on the club when something goes wrong? Being a supporter means supporting them through everything and by support I mean taking their side.

I read that FA have powers of special dispensation where required and it could still go through.

Can't say I was that excited abouty this one anyway, Yes he's been good this season but last year and year before he only scored a handful of goals.

Not quite the Diego Milito, Adriano, Gilardino type striker that I had in mind.

I gave Elano my Porsche and now I want it back!
