Battleaxe, Shirley Webb

BATTLEAXE

SHIRLEY WEBB

A weapon of war, domineering, aggressive and indomitable - a warrior queen.

Battleaxe is a former hammer thrower for Scotland and Great Britain. She has competed in the Commonwealth Games, Olympic Games, European Championships and World Championships and she holds the Scottish record. Battleaxe was previously a spring board and high board diver and a dancer, specialising in ballet, tap and modern. Battleaxe is also a mathematician, with a BSc in Mathematics from Edinburgh University.

Enigma, Jenny Pacey

ENIGMA

JENNY PACEY

Mysterious and beautiful, contradictory and unpredictable, impossible to capture.

Following a BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Science at Loughborough University, Enigma further qualified in personal training, sports massage, strength and conditioning, nutrition, weight management, mobility and core stability. She has represented Great Britain in the long jump and pentathlon and bobsleighed to Olympic level. Plus, she is ranked sixth in the long jump in the UK. Enigma is also a sports model and has been photographed for brands including Asics, Adidas, Reebok, Mizuno and Nike. She is currently in training to be a stunt woman.

Ice, Caroline Pearce

ICE

CAROLINE PEARCE

Cold, steely, frosty and beautiful.

Ice is an experienced athlete, competing in the heptathlon. She was one of the youngest competitors in the England schools competition in the hurdles when she was 11 and went on to compete for England in the pentathlon at the age of 15. As a senior, Ice competed for Great Britain at the 2004 European Cup and was a member of the British bobsleigh team at the World Championships in 2005. Caroline also achieved a first-class honours degree in sports science and a masters degree in physiology and nutrition from Loughborough University.

Inferno, Jemma Palmer

INFERNO

JEMMA PALMER

Hot, fiery, dangerous and destructive.

Inferno is a wrestler, trained by the team behind Ultimate Warrior, having won a scholarship with Ultimate Pro Wrestling. She was also invited to be a WWE Diva search finalist and was a Musclemania finalist and fitness competitor. Inferno has been a Miss Hawaiian Tropic finalist, a Ms USA Dream Bikini Body Finalist, a Maxim Little Black Book UK top three winner and a Miss Maxim UK finalist. She also has a purple belt in submission wrestling.

Panther, Kara Nwidobie

PANTHER

KARA NWIDOBIE

Beautiful, sleek and prowling, fierce and aggressive - the most powerful of them all.

Panther is a former Great Britain discus thrower having competed in the UK Championships and the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006. She has previously been ranked first in England and second in Great Britain. Panther also plays women's rugby and her job before becoming a Gladiator was a Children's day nursey manager.

Tempest, Lucy Boggis

TEMPEST

LUCY BOGGIS

Naturally beautiful, a force of nature bringing furious agitation and commotion.

Tempest is a full-time athlete, competing in the heptathlon. She has previously won four gold medals in the English schools competition, been the national javelin champion two years running and is the national pentathlon indoor record holder. Since taking up athletics at the age of 11, Tempest has consistently been ranked in the top three for at least one of the heptathlon events. Tempest hopes to compete in the London Olympics in 2012.
