| I also believe SWP will return in January. Mcclaren has said this morning that he wants him to get first-team football and Jose can't guarantee that

| This was in the papers on Sunday as well
The Sunday Express suggest...
'City eye old boy Shaun'
MANCHESTER CITY are weighing up another loan move for Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Manager Stuart Pearce says he has already identified the areas he wants to strengthen in the January transfer window - he's looking for a winger and a goalscorer.
Pearce said: "We are looking at players who will improve us. I need to sit down with the chairman and see what finance is available to me but I have positions I am prioritising."
But City insiders say Pearce has told chairman John Wardle that Wright-Phillips is top of his shopping list.

| | Could happen, he will go somewhere on loan. Could be Newcastle or Villa maybe but could also come back just for 6 months to get some form and put him in the shop window for a move. We may even be able to afford to buy him, let's face it if Chelsea let Duff go for £5m when he cost £17m from Blackburn why not?

| Whilst I would like to see it happen I think it unlikely on the grounds that we will have to pay his wages to chelsea for the term of the loan. I suspect he gets more than we can afford and it could foment unrest amongst some of the other players.
