Phil calcium or something  He has a very prolific goalscoring record.... 2006-2008 FC Basle 46 (12)  It doesn't mean much. Lady boy Ronaldo scored 3 in 25 at Sporting. Also, we've signed plenty of players like Samaras and Bianchi with healthy scoring records that haven't exactly lived up to the expectation. If this kid comes to City I'll be delighted. He looks like a quick strong striker and we're lacking power. I'd be pleased. We're not just buying for this season are we. We're creating a team in Sven's image. *hears religious music*

I wouldn't say that. I'd say he's building on some superb purchases in the summer. Besides, we're in 6th place with 41 points in January. This is about the least desperate we've been since Peter Reid was manager.

My sentiments exactly. Why write the kid off before we've even officially signed him. Surely even for City fans that's a bit on the gloomy side.
