| | We're told it's got nowt to do with money, we're told that January is a tough time to do business. Chelsea have made a couple of big signings, as have the Spuds and a number of others, Boro have just tied up the deal for Alves, a supposed target of ours. So why are we finding it so tough but yet others are identifying and completing signing?

| I can only imagine the players sven's targeted are playing at clubs that are still in european competition and dont wanna sell, also the player probably doesn't wanna leave either, not while still in europe. If by going for option 2 and signing a player not in europe just cuz he's available, means that we wont be then able to go back in for option 1 in the summer when he is available, then I'd rather wait for svens preferred chioce, option 1.
