| | Mica is an avid Queen fan. Once I heard that, I kinda saw where he was coming from with his style. I'm not comparing at all but it does shed a bit of light on his style. His song "Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)" is a complete rip off of "Fat Bottom Girls" by Queen btw.

Was it true when freddie Mercury karked it (of the bad aids) the others decided to carry on, but call themselves 'Right Freds dead'?
Someone get a message through to Captain Snort That they better start assembling the boys from the fort. And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight, 'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight. |

Take That aren't crap, not my taste but they've written and recorded some belting tunes down the years. As for Mika, again not my thing at all, but it's good pop, he's not trying to be pretentious or taking himself too seriously. What's the problem with that? With you on that ESM. Take That are fantastic! "Re light me fire... "

Danny's Studs (15/01/2008) Mika is a very talented guy, if you cant recognise that your kidding yourself. He's not everyone's cuppa, certainly not mine but the guy can sing and can replicate live what he does in the studio.Agreed. Not my bag but there's no denying his talent. What in? Writing catchy (albeit very cheesy) pop songs. He's also a very good pianist and apparently a good live performer. Like I said, I don't really like his music but he has a lot more talent than other pop acts. Irritating. That voice is almost as annoying as James Blunt or Chris Martin. He'd have to pay me to watch live. But you can't deny that for a cheesy pop merchant, he has more talent than a lot of others. A least he's writing and performing his own stuff even if you find his voice irritating. I can deny it. I thinks it's pure garbage, that makes me want to rip my ears off to stop the pain. Well your stupid! End of! Well said.
