| Rumour: Man City chase Italian goal machine!?!
Veteran Italian striker Christian Vieri is attracting attention from Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson.
Vieri has scored 6 goals in 20 appearances for Fiorentina so far this season and many Italian pundits are calling for the striker to be included in Italy's Euro 2008 squad.
The Italian ace has just six months remaining on his contract at Fiorentina and City boss Eriksson is hoping to bring the striker to England in a cut price deal.

| yeh isnt he like 40 years old or something? but what is worrying me is all this talk about sven not having much cash to spend, if which is true might lead him to purchase some "cheaper" alternatives. If bianchi gets sold i think i will cry now.

Well I know for a fact we bid 16m for Modric, so surly it's still there to spend
