The twunts latest. Didn't know we'd made the CC final!?!?!

MONDAY

Man City v Everton (2000 GMT)
Premier League predictions

Everton played in the Uefa Cup on Thursday while Man City will be refreshed after a 15-day break since their last fixture.

Their last game, of course, was the 2-1 win at Old Trafford against rivals Man Utd and City will take a lot of confidence from that result.

I think this will be a tight game with little between the two teams.

I'm not sure it will be much of a spectacular, certainly no fireworks and laser show.

Verdict: 1-0

CARLING CUP FINAL

SUNDAY

Tottenham v Chelsea
Premier League predictions

There is now love lost between these two teams - and Tottenham have not beaten Chelsea in 16 attempts.

But I'm going to tip Tottenham to win as I reckon that Juande Ramos has the winning formula in cup competitions.

In addition to being a good manager he also has that little bit of luck.

He has worked the players hard since he took over and has won their respect through what he has done with them on the training field.

Their results have improved, Ramos has signed a few good players and Ledley King is back again.

You look at Tottenham now and they are a completely different proposition from what they were a few months ago.

Chelsea have a good record in cup finals but every now and again you lose one, whether it is deserved or not.

The Blues have had a few results of scraping results but I think they might come unstuck on Sunday.

Verdict: 1-0

He's gone for Birmingham to beat Arsenal. He would never tip City to beat a supposedly bigger team. Lawrenson is an unbelievable cock.

Man City v Wigan (1715 GMT)
Man City v Wigan

Man City are going through a bit of a strange phase. They win at Man Utd but then fail to turn up against Everton at home.

Wigan are strong and physical. They are full of running but lack guile.

I think City are good at beating the lesser teams at home.

Verdict: 2-0

My thoughts also.  Have we won when he has predicted us to? (not that that happens very often)

Might have a chance of winning now.

Reading v Man City
Reading v Man City

Reading manager Steve Coppell made changes to his team for the game at Middlesbrough and saw his team end their eight-game losing sequence in the Premier League.

I imagine that he will stick to the same team against Man City - and by allowing Leroy Lita to join Charlton on loan Coppell has sent a positive message that he is happy with the strikers who remain at the club.

Man City are not the same team without Micah Richards and with Martin Petrov still suspended the team lack a cutting edge.

Verdict: 1-0
