| | SATURDAY (All kick-offs 1500 GMT unless specified) Man City v Newcastle (1245 GMT)
I'm going for a draw because Manchester City are a little bit all over the place at the moment. Their home form has generally been good but I think Newcastle will have been really boosted by their Carling Cup win over Watford. Prediction: 1-1 Forget that we created a hatful of chances against Charlton, hit the post twice and the keeper made three world class saves -obviously, with their striker shortage, their lucky penalties win over Watford in midweek, lack of their first choice keeper, shite defence, tiredness from playing 120 mins, Newcastle will be the first to breach the COMS this season..... They probably will, considering our inconsistancy, but still, you can't fault his logic, can you?

| | Let's face it - like the rest of us he hasn't got a clue when it comes to predicting City games, so he just makes it up as he goes along. (though, of course, as far as he's concerned it's not just City and this tactic also applies to every other club in the Premiership)

| | Newcastle haven't scored in 341 mins of prem football. Failed to score in five of the last seven League outings, including the last three. Won one of the last 10 Premiership games. Picked up two of the last 21 League points, and kept one clean sheet in the seven games (0-0, home to Charlton on 28 October). Lost all five League engagements in which the opening goal has been conceded. Dropped more points from a winning position than any other club in the highest League - eight. Lost home to Wigan and away to West Ham, and drawn at Everton. Yet to net in the last 10 minutes of a Premiership game. Obviously, none of this will matter...

Well seeing as Newcastle can't hit a barn door, i predict: City 1 Newcastle 4 |

| I've made this thread a sticky, so no need to start a new Lawro thread every week. Just post the nobs predictions here and get stuck into the prize cock.
