Too often, we lose sight of lifes simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and bitch-slap that mother....pass it on.

I have a question. Who are these people that are keeping spam on our shop shelves, who buys it? Old people or what, cos it is fooken awful. I could check on the internet (but I wont) but the meat content must be trace...?

Dunno, same shit goes for cornbeef. Last time I had spam was at junior school nearly 30 years ago.

Corned beef is ace.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a fact. With Branston pickle and english mustard.

*drools*

Oh yes. Or in a sandwich with salad creme. Strange, but good.

That's the monmey shot, right there. Asked for a corned beef and salad sandwixh once with salad cream at the canteen when working on the trafford centre, the only salad they could muster was a bit of really damp lettuce, so I sacked it off and the corned beef & salad cream seed was sown.

I love corned beef. Spam's maybe not quite as good unless fried and in a butty with bacon, sausage & egg.

It's too posh for corned beef in the butty shops round here. Another reason why I want to move back up north. In barney they always had a "Corned beef savoury" available.

Was it Danny Baker who used to try and flush a Ye Olde Oak ham down the bog on his radio show?

Don't know why now but it made me laugh back then.

I work in the food industry and SPAM is one of the worst products on sale - it's total processed garbage - full of phosphates, salt and fat.  They have even launched a sliced battered and fried version called a Fritter.  It will be advertised on TV (starts this week I believe) in the very worst cheesiest ad ever - it's strap line will be SPAM - UP..................... Ironic really considering the pic just posted.  If I had a choice between Spam and Cat Food - I'd probably choose cat food.  Meat in a can is so 80's (except Campbell's meat balls - their a legend - especially on a barmcake with mayo and gravy)

C.T.I.D. (then some)
