Danny's Studs (09/01/2008)
Cloudyshin O'Watra (09/01/2008) Oasis were, are and always will be, crap.
There I've said it.
Alright Bassman.
Back off Danny. I like us to agree, but he's right, and if copying Bassman is the best way to say it then so be it.
Oasis r gay and Squidge says he can't hear the comparison with the Beatles because he patently doesn't have "real" ears.
Fact.
Definitely maybe is class. You're gay.
I'm actually not gay, I'm heterosexual so you sir, are a buffoon.
Definitely Maybe's alright... it just all sounds the same though.
There's four Oasis songs I like and none of them are on that album. Sussed!
Sussed??? Gay.
As I said it, I pointed both fingers at you, gurned and leaned back slightly.
You're gay anyway.
Stop it. We're hijacking the thread.
Gay

| I really don't hear it at all, the beatles thing. But then again i think the beatles are the most over rated band in the history of the world.

Oasis definitely have a huge beatles influence. And I can't agree with you about the beatles. Just my opinion.

| IMNSHO Oasis have recorded maybe one and a half album's worth of good tunes. They've definitely sullied their standing in music history by sticking around so long and flogging a dead horse. If they'd sacked it off after the second album they'd be on a pedestal forever. Now people will just remember all the drivel they've put out. Greedy.

The masterplan was the last thing I bought. Not really been arsed about them since.
Still, Loads of money vs Pedestal?? I know the honourable choice, but I'm not too sure what I'd do. Actually I am. Show me the monkey.

Good shout Jeebs. Who remembers the last decent Stones record? All anyone remembers is Jagger's dancing in this vidoe:

Just my opinion. I wouldn't expect too many people to agree with me to be honest Benny. Which is fine, i just don't like them. I'm sure there is a Beatles influence in Oasis' music, they've admitted as much, i just can't hear it. I know calling them a tribute band is one of the most ridiculous criticisms that can be levelled at them.
