| | Don't worry, there are others who have said much worse things recently. If they punish him for that while letting others off the hook, it'll only go to prove his point! "It's not for me to say whether there needs to be further investment in the squad, but you'd like to see that there might be some investment in January or the end of the season." I always laugh when people come out with things like that - "I'm not saying x but..." and then go on to say exactly that! In the past couple of days, we've had Cashley Arsehole saying "I'm not moaning, really I'm not, but..." and today there is Steve Bruce saying "I'm not one to criticise referees but..."  It seems to be the new disclaimer amongst football folk, not that anyone actually believes it for a second!

| | Maybe he shouldn't say it in public but you can't expect him to keep his mouth shut all the time. Slightly frustrating what he says about people jumping on the bandwagon when he handed his transfer request, a lot of people were pissed off about that and had every right to be. Also, his form won't make anyone eat their words...i'm still pissed off that he did that to us no matter what else he does. Perhaps what he means is that if he shows committment he will be forgiven.
