I ain't even thinking about in anymore... you know the Iraqi embassy
will be appealing this case till the dogs come home. Akram's website
seems to still broadcasting his desire to play for City, so I do believe
hi will probably play for us next year....

I am more interested in why Benjani didn't pan out, 8 million????
Come on, thats a little bit of panic move, eh??

Just watching Iraq against China and whilst looking for teams on the net to see if Sun was playing i came across this..

Also playing will be the creative Nashat Akram, still seething after being refused a work permit to play for Sven-Goran Eriksson's Manchester City.

The Al-Ain star's predicament has sparked calls for British Home Secretary Jacqui Smith to intervene, with his hopes to become the first Iraqi to play in England's Premier League hanging by a thread.

So maybe in the summer He still may end up a City player.

Hello again my friends..

I have some good news regarding Nashát Akram and Man City FC.

It seems like that Nashat will play for Aalesund FC of Norway and then join Man City in the summer. Nashats agents had yesterday meetings with Aalesunds staff. Aalesund's Coach is really happy. They are discussing the money issue now. several Danish clubs wants Nashat Akram, a Russian team wants an immediate move and Helsingborg from Sweden is showing the most interest by inviting his agent to the city for a talk. He will move by the start of this summer to Man City, so it's going to be a small contract, if anything goes trough.
