| Castillo granted permission to face West Ham | 04/01/2008 11:50 |
Loan signing, Nery Castillo, has received the relevant clearance to be eligible for tomorrow's FA Cup trip to West Ham. Castillo can play either as a striker or a wide man and has been included in the squad to travel down to London for the third round tie. The 23-year-old Mexican international has been training with the Blues ever since he agreed a loan deal on December 19 and will now be hoping for a swift City debut at Upton Park tomorrow. Looking forward to see how he does. I think he will need a bit of time to adjust to the prem so we must not judge him til after a couple of months. |
