| Just read in a Swedish newspaper that City is rumoured to get Podolski on a loan until the end of the season. Podolski would cash in 15 million pound on the deal if it goes through.

Don't think hes worth more than £15 million at this moment in time, because he's barely kicked a ball all season.If they're truly selling him for 15 mil then that's a deal. He's world class and despite being injured all season, that's a bargain compared to Berba at double that price.

| I'd probably say anywhere up to 15 million is a fair valuation, maybe a shade less as he hasn't played much this season. He's 22 got a decent goal ratio on the international scene and shows loads of promise. Would definitely be worth a punt on loan with a view to a permanent deal (whether there is an option will be another matter though!)

Now, he is considered to be one of the brightest attackers in Germany at the moment, but don't we already have enough forwards at City?
Hmm. Vassell, Bianchi, Sturridge, Dickov, Samaras, Bojinov, Mpenza. With only a few of those names actually performing good, I can see why Svennis is looking to add another striker. This'll be interesting.
