Dear Joey,

Please cast your mind back 9 months when you were on your way to being the top scorer for man city in the 2006/07 season. We applauded your every move and were proud of all  the times you went onto match of the day or on sky sports news and spoke passionately about the club that gave you the chances (and many of them) Your performances proved your words were not in vain as you led the team to premiership safety, had it not been for your training ground bust up days before the derby match, i am sure you would have been voted player of the season. But unfortunately the enevitable happened and you violently assaulted a team mate which led to your exit to Newcastle. Joey you were one of us, we loved you despite your previous, and the club laid down fantastic support and help for you in your times of trouble, and it seems you have not learnt one thing and its a crying shame because 12 months ago you were looking at becoming an England squad regular, possibly becoming captain of your club, and being part of what looks now to be like City's best squad in 30 years. You could have been lining up with the likes of Elano, Petrov and Castillo and it looks like you the best you can hope for is to be lining up for the prison team....

Looks like you made one bad decision too many this time because there was no Richard Dunne there this time to drag you away from the trouble.

Good Luck Joey.....

Barton is a bellend, always has been, and always will be.  Great that City got shot.

Bye bye bellend, bellend good bye,

Someone get a message through to Captain Snort
That they better start assembling the boys from the fort.
And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight,
'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight.

Barton burnt his bridges with a lot of City fans last January when he handed in his transfer request, the Dabo incident was the icing on the cake. As for him lining up a long side the likes of Elano and Petrov? With the form of Hamann, plus tyhe likes of Ireland and more so Johnson, I don't think Joey would get into the starting 11.

Plus as Miggs says, fuck'im.
