Courtney Love appears on the cover of both albums. Jesus! Everyone knows that!

Indeed, you are a muso like me then. I bet not many knew that though.

This has nothing to do with being a muso. This is just trivia. Courtney Love is a talentless vampire, bleeding her dead husband's back catalogue dry. She is also addicted to plastic surgery, mindless self promotion and is fearful of guitars that are in tune.

Jerry Garcia was a talentless greedy, heroin addicted hippy whose bandmates were scared to tell him to stop playing boring guitar solos. All his followers had fleas. The only interesting thing about him is the ice cream named in his 'honour' - 'Cherry Garcia'. This is the worst flavour in the Ben and Jerry range.

Well, personally i don't have any feelings either way. It was just a trivia thing for a Friday morning. No need to take that seriously really.

Didn't mean to be rude to you Cardie! These two are the worst examples of Rock Stars in the world. If I had the choice between having these two or G G Allen around to my house for tea, I'd pick Courtney and Garcia, but they are still idiots.

I like Courtney Love's 'Americas Sweetheart' album.  That rocks.

I thought Hole were a decent enough band - Celebrity Skin's a belting tune.  Good drummer too if anyone ever saw them live.  I'm not sure about slart's "bleeding her dead husband" comments, that might be a little harsh.

She also put in a perfectly respectable acting turn in "Man on the Moon" which I watched again recently.  Top film.

Another unknown and completely true fact: Courtney Love used to sing in Faith No More.

I knew that.

Faith No More singers in order of preference:

1. Mike Patton (God)

2. Chuck Mosely (strange and tramp-like)

3. Courtney Love (slag)

I wasn't questioning his singing abilities.

Havent heard enough of Chuck to give a fair summation. What I do know is he had a hefty appetite for all things illicit.

Mike Patton was the last piece in the puzzle of a magic band. They went from club band to Album of the year within 2 years. Amazing.

I bought the CD of the band he was in after FNM - Cement I think they were called.  Pure shite. What a let-down.

Q. What do

and

have in common?

A. They both love the smell of country air.

Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced.

Has Elton just realised that Bernie Taupin has smeared his keyboard with dog shit for a laugh?
