It was hardly the greatest midfield display we've seen. From what I've seen Geovanni's better coming off the bench. Agreed. I can see him being our super-sub, but not much more.

| i like him as a bench player as he comes on and has that brazil magic and dash that can upset a few defenders in the latter stages of a game when they are a bit tired but as a starter i think he leaves us a bit too vulnerable when he doesnt track back.

| Could you believe that this crazy bastard Joan Gaspart paid 18 mln.euro for him .. this was a time when Barca was spending ridiculous money for players like Geo, Rochemback and others of that type. 
For Geo - I think he could be decent, but nothing more. Far away from Mr.Elano's class, nothing special at all (and I don't think he's good enough to be a starter in every game)
Bench player sounds good .. when you're looking for new ideas or refreshing of the game. But I don't think he's something more than decent at all.
