you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

| Mr Badger (01/11/2006) ...that the pitch at COMS has been narrowed?I hadn't noticed that but now you come to mention it.......maybe our lack of wide men has something to do with it? What's happened to all the fancy mowing too?

Mr Badger (01/11/2006) ...that the pitch at COMS has been narrowed?Maybe to spare C5's legs? I reckon that's the reason Weaver still looks a bit porky, it's an optical illusion caused by the narrow pitch.

Perhaps if they mowed the pitch with horizontal stripes rather than lengthwise, it might have a slimming effect on him in comparison?

If that worked we could use Stephen Ireland like a stealth bomber as no-one would see him coming.

| East Stand Massive (01/11/2006) Talking about the pitch. Does anyone know what the two parallel lines that are painted on the edge of the pitch are for?Perhaps they use them for shooting practise for Samaras and Corradi?

| East Stand Massive (01/11/2006) Talking about the pitch. Does anyone know what the two parallel lines that are painted on the edge of the pitch are for?My dad asks that every match. He knows i don't know, but he now does every match for the sake of it. Maybe it is some kind of superstitous thing!
