The fact is that the media seem to have some sort of fixation with City and the word 'debt'.

They seem to have a fixation with us and the word 'poor' as well.

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass
he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

and "roller coaster" and "theatre of comedy" and "revolving door for managers" and "sleeping dwarf" etc etc.

Do we care? Fuck 'em.

I'd sooner be a City fan in Div 2 than a Chelsea fan in the Chumps League riding on Roman's ill-gotten gains.

Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced.

As i said in a thread yesterday the media has a real problem with us, we obviously did somethin many blue moons ago to piss somene off and it has just stuck ever since.

Agree with your point as well Cloudy, investment will do nicely, but we can't sell the heart of the club

Good to see that there seems to be some positive results from the financial planning. The trick is going to be the next phase - spending wisely once money becomes availble. It has to lead to improvement both on the field and the ultimate bottom line.
