| why have spain and holland also failed to acheive anything in recent years? they have some of the best technical ability.

i think our players are good enough... it's just a tactical thing..Our players could be good enough, in a tactically run, well organized side - by a tactically astute manager - which Maclaren was obviously not. but you said they will never be good enough cos they dont have good enough technique?

i think our players are good enough... it's just a tactical thing..Our players could be good enough, in a tactically run, well organized side - by a tactically astute manager - which Maclaren was obviously not. but you said they will never be good enough cos they dont have good enough technique? They don't, neither did Wimbledon - but they did get results. We as it stands are not going to be the best side in the world, because our way of educating kids football is all wrong. Doesn't mean that a really top manager can't come along and mould a side though.
Someone get a message through to Captain Snort
That they better start assembling the boys from the fort.
And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight,
'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight.

Bassman, Micah is a product of the Samba soccer school, whereby youngester are taught from an early age based on the model of the Brazilian youth system. So we're getting there, it's just going to take a while...

| | Just going off Topical slightly it's an absoloute disgrace how Scott Carson is being portrayed in the media today. Way to ruin a Young lads career, yes he fumbled the shot but it was up to the defence to close him down instead of running away from the ball as if it were a bomb. |
