"It's certainly better for England to win here tonight than not"
Genius. How ever much they pay him, it's not enough. Just like the England team eh? Overpaid and underwhelming. And they want to keep McClaren on? No thanks. Who in their right mind considers Martin O'Neil for a job and then says, 'No, I think I'd prefer Steve McClaren actually.' Who in their right mind consider Martin O'Neil an internation class manager? People quite a large amount more intelligent than those who think Steve McLaren is an international manager?

Couldn't they just have looked at the remaining candidates and said "hang on, this really isn't worth our time. Lets just withdraw from the tournament"? I wish they'd have the balls to get rid of McClown before the tournament (if we qualify) and give Jose whatever he wants to take the job

He's far far better than Smiley Steve anyway, but maybe not as good as Mourinho. If there's the remotest possibility of getting him, I say we take Smiley into the backyard right now and put him down.
