I've been to countless gigs at the Academy and not often are songs interrupted, yeah there may be a lot of people whooping and cheering between songs to show the band their appreciation but not once they're in full swing. When people are paying to watch a band they're not going to stand around shouting throughout the performance!

If nobody applauded, then the band would think people didn't like them. |

This happens more often than not when I am at the Academy you must stand next to my mate then . he does that all the time, even i have to tell him to shut up. i apprecaite that if its a good song then you'd want to sing along like you would if you were at home or in the car but whats the point in going to hear live music when all you can hear is your own voice?!?

| | I'm with Noddy on this one. The Appollo is a proper gigging venue like the Ritz ( my personal favourite) a much better atmosphere. The Accademy-2 is ok, but no-1 is shite i've seen loads of bands there and enjoyed it, but not a patch on The Apollo.
