Just been trying to get tickets and nearly every ticketing website is crashing due to the volume of traffic

I actually managed to try and book tickets before 9:00 (according to the clock on my computer) and it said they had already sold out

I didn't think there would be such a mad panic

Good band and a strong following. I hope their new album is as good as Hot Fuss, don't want a let down like Kasabian's latest effort.

I like Hot Fuss.  That new tune, there is a part on it, which reminds me of Meatloaf, unfortunately.  The bit where it breaks down to just the piano, and vocal.

Agreed.

Why The Apollo is crap: too big for a gig to ever feel intimate, full of knobheads (although to be fair last time I went was to see Ian Brown), ticket office is too much of a treck so always have to pay booking and handling fees on ticketline, only sells Carling, no decent pub nearby, ballache to get to and home from...

Although saying that I'm going to a gig there in November.
