There's a poster for a Throbbing Gristle gig on the wall of the dressing room in a scene in Control.

There, I've saved you the trouble of going to see it now.

Is there a twist at the end?

Ian Curtis faked his own death and is started doing the working Men's Club circuit with Elvis.

and they end up runners up on the X-Factor.

Gonna go watch it on Monday. Rooneyed it now. I hope you're pulling my pecker.

It's practically Christmas today!

Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced.

Someone get a message through to Captain Snort
That they better start assembling the boys from the fort.
And keep Mrs. Honeyman right out of sight,
'Cos there's gonna be riot down in Trumpton Tonight.

Been busy downloading stuff I've had recommended

Just so so cool. Colour is just brilliant.

Image:Beatles - Abbey Road.jpg

Never listened to this before, but had heard some of the stuff on it already. Nothing incredible, relatively, but I got into it last night and still want top try it again when I get home. Got Rubber Soul as well which I haven't listened to yet and that's supposed to be the best Beatles stuff according to some.

Revolver

Revolver-Muso's Choice (I don't know if that's a compliment or insult Bassman )

Sgt Pepper's-Popular choice

Rubber Soul-"I'd like to be different" choice

Make your own Beatles album, that's what I say.

I agree actually.  I've found that all their albums have good/bad.  Like Sgt Pepper has 'A Day in the Life' - awesome, yet unfortuantely it has 'When i'm 64' - cak.

Even Revolver has awesome 'Taxman' - and 'Yellow Submarine' - not quite as cak, but a bit of a stain on the back of yer boxers nonetheless.

Why did they used to do that?  Ruin otherwise great albums with meaningless poo.

I can't think of an album where I love every track, by anyone.  I guess it's different songs appealing to different people.  Total concurrage about Taxman and Yellow sub BTW.
