Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced.

I think Reading will drop down the league.

Watford are gonners.

Depends if Charlton change manager whether they stay up.

Wigan will struggle.

West Ham are having second season syndrome.  They caught every one by surprise last season, but now they need to find somethig else.

Sheff United will be in the mix.

I think Middlesborough will be down there as well, I'm not convinced that Southgate is a manager.

City need a creative player in January.  With a full strength team, Isaksson in goal, Vassell's pace, Samaras up front not on the wing.  We should finish half way-ish.

Newcastle aren't good enough.  They've got no strikers, and i think Ameobi is out for the season now.  They can't spend any more money after paying £10 million for Martins, and £17 million for Glassman Owen.  And Newcastle's defence is appalling.

I was just saying to my mate last night that it's a good job Charlton and West ham and Newcastle are going through somthing of a slump plus yer have the 3 teams that come up. I've always thought that after the top 4 or 5 theres about 10 clubs who can easily make top 8, us included. Lets hope that the Wigan game is the catalyst for our season now and we can build from monday.

Actually, you know what I reckon? We're simply just not good enough.

I'm serious. As a squad of players iwe are just not up to Premiership Standards and no amount of motivation, training, coaching, tough talking, sweet talking, bonuses or fines will change that.

We may avoid relegation but it will be by the skin of our teeth if we do.

We are still better than three other teams though, surely?

It's not that we are better than three other teams...it's more that there are three other teams worse than us.

There is a difference

From Manchester with love
