Why the fuck would you want us to lose? I've never wanted City to lose a match and never will.

I'll never understand the mentality of 'fans' who want City to lose.  Ever.

Exactly my point. It makes no sense to me at all.

I think you will find Ireland was injured for quite a few matches towards the end and wasn't available to play. You can't keep a player at the club who wants to leave, you end up still paying his wages and not getting 100%, it just won't work.

Ireland was also injured for the start of the season and is now injured again so not available. You have a right to criticise I just feel that some of the points you make are not valid.

i think you will find that stephen ireland came into the team played about 7 or 8 games received motm in about 5 or 6 of them with rave reviews (and rightly so) and then was sub coming on for the last 30 secs in about the next 10 games and thats what i'm talking about.
Your saying you cant keep a player at a club who wants to leave. But andy cole hasn't got more than 2 seasons left in him and if we made him stay and he never gave 100% nobody would come in for him at the end of the season.
I understand what your saying about players not wanting to stay but this wasn't exactly like the SWP situation this could of favoured us cos if he didn't play well for us his carrer was over at the end of the season

Personally I'm secretly hoping that we win on Monday (heavily) and it sets us off on a run of good form and confidence that sees us comfortably top half of the table, maybe challenging for Europe.  OK, it's not a realistic hope, but I'll take that every day over wanting us to lose so that the manager gets sacked!

Apparently Cole told SP that if he wasn't allowed to leave he would retire and never play for City again.  So SP got some cash for him, what else could he do.

A true fan would never ever want his team to lose, no matter what the reason.

I said much the same when I wanted rid of KK. I know what he means by that. He wont want them to lose come kick off.

i don't really want em to losetxtPost_CommentEmoticon('');
now i've had a coffee! but i want him badly to get the sack.
Then we can get Curbs in to motivate the players cos its what hes good at. He's proved he can do it without money on tight budgets, we've got to be quick cos i think Roeder will be gone soon and hes the obvious replacement
