| | Bassman's right though. How come these non entities sell albums by the squillions whilst other much better artists are destined forever to ply their trade in front of a handful of bored drunks in the back rooms of local boozers? As the mighty Toyah herself said, it's a mysthtery.
Avoid, rather than check. Check, rather than hurt. Hurt, rather than maim. Maim, rather than kill. For all life is precious, nor can any be replaced. |

| Cloudyshin O'Watra (19/10/2007) Bassman's right though.
How come these non entities sell albums by the squillions whilst other much better artistsare destined foreverto ply their trade in front of a handful of bored drunks in the back rooms of local boozers in Oldham?
As the mighty Toyah herself said, it's a mysthtery.
Yeah, I concede that.

you know, you know, if a feller named Monroe never fathered bluegrass he would still be unrecognised as the grand wizard of speed metal

| | Brilliant album:
Those slack arses can stay in the back rooms of pubs for all I care. If a band's good enough and they work hard enough then 99 times out of a hundred they'll get the success they deserve.

| Just another example of Shirley's blinkered musical snobbery.

Yeah, people like Billy Ocean get the star treatment, a fair few million spent on promotion and touring and the real musicians, the ones that actually have talent, have to take a digital camera up to Mossley and take their own photos, in a field?

When you put it like that it just seems so unfair. Its like well tight. Balls to all them big stars anyway. Standing on rocks with one foot slightly in front of the other is keeping it real.
